Allenwest supply solution equipment to areas where even a relatively minor failure can cause significant cost and disruption. We build to a very high standard and design the reliability needed to meet your requirements. However, as with any product, regular servicing is essential to optimise efficiency and to ensure long lifetimes.
Allenwest offer different levels of support package designed to minimise the risk of failure and to suit your needs. Allenwest’s service packages for all our products are designed to support the equipment right through the life of the asset. This includes two planned maintenance visits per year with a full report including notice of any parts obsolescence. Gold service customers also receive priority on emergency service calls with all travel and labour costs taken care of, with guaranteed fixed price on all parts.
Allenwest engineers have a long history of working in both underground and surface mines. We are fully experienced and carry all the relevant certifications for all major mining regions. We currently provide a full service offering for 365/24-7 mining operations throughout the world. This is supported by our experienced engineering team in the UK to allow full site support.
Our extensive workshop and field resources are available to repair, upgrade and overhaul high voltage electrical and electronic equipment for the tunnelling and infrastructure industries. Not only can we provide HV cable repairs, transformer overhauls, certified flameproof overhauls and electronics repairs, we have a wide range of power hire solutions. This covers a diverse range of new and overhauled power distribution equipment which is readily available to minimise operational downtime.
Each industrial installation has its own unique challenges including difficult access and tight timescales. Allenwest have many years’ experience in tailoring industrial service packages to meet the customer’s needs. Our installation engineers meet with all site accreditations that are required and are trained to IOSH health and safety standards. We can offer out of hours installations to suit customers’ requirements. Allenwest’s on site capabilities encompass installation and commissioning, maintenance, electronic equipment repairs and calibration, and high voltage equipment testing and repairs.

Our service engineer will evaluate the current condition of your equipment and, if necessary, recommend any work required to bring it up to minimum standard to qualify for a support contract.
The technical survey will be charged at our standard daily rate. If the contract is taken up the cost of this initial survey will be refunded.
